Hi, I’m Dan — a wedding filmmaker based in Yorkshire
I live in Leeds with my Fiancé Hannah and our two old whippets (who spend most of their time asleep under my desk!). I’ve been capturing events professionally for over 15 years now, and in that time I’ve filmed more than 200 weddings across the UK and beyond.
Before filmmaking, I studied graphic design, which is where my love for composition began. I then spent many years filming live music and festivals across the world, where, much like weddings, nothing is staged and you don’t get a second chance. This experience shaped how I work today - discreet, unobtrusive and without interrupting the natural flow of the day.
I love my job and feel incredibly lucky to do it, being trusted to document such an important day is something I never take lightly. I approach every wedding with calmness, care, and respect for the people and the atmosphere around me.

My approach — fun, honest films.
Weddings are emotional, unscripted, and full of things you can’t plan for - and that’s exactly what I love about them.
I’m naturally quite calm and observant, and I approach weddings in the same way. I don’t direct or stage anything, and I won’t ask you to perform for the camera. Instead, I blend into the background and allow the day to unfold naturally, capturing all of the little (and big!) moments as they happen.
My years spent filming live music and events taught me to anticipate without interfering. Once something has happened, it’s gone - and my job is simply to be there to document it in a beautiful, honest way.
Most couples tell me they quickly forget they’re being filmed, which is exactly how it should be. This allows everyone to relax and be themselves, which is when the most meaningful footage is captured.

Full-day coverage starts from £2,800.
I typically provide a short highlight film (3-5 minutes), a longer documentary film (10-20 minutes) and extended edits of your ceremony & speeches.
